The conveyancing process is often regarded as one of the most stressful experiences in life. In addition to coordinating a potential new house purchase and packing up your home, you must also manage everyday life and work commitments.

Founded in 2022 (formerly known as JB Property Law), Joanne Bowmer LTD was established to address a market need. We believe that our clients are the priority in our operations; we are lawyers first and business owners second.

While we can't assist with packing your belongings, our goal is to reduce the stress of your conveyancing process by communicating clearly, efficiently, and promptly. We will keep you informed with regular updates at critical points throughout your transaction.

Operating on a consultancy basis rather than as an employee in a large firm allows us to manage a smaller caseload than many conveyancers. ​Joanne Bowmer LTD offer their residential legal services on a self-employed consultancy basis via an existing law firm & are not a separate Lawyer/Solicitor firm. ​​

This enables us to provide a more personalized service and adjust our hours to accommodate your work and home life.

Joanne Bowmer SOC.Lc, PF.NALP, Q.Inst.Pa, E.C.Dip
Director & Consultant Lawyer
​Joanne is an experienced legal professional with over two decades of experience. Starting as an office junior, she worked her way up to become a legal secretary & assistant and undertook part time study for her legal qualifications.
With experience in large and small law firms, Joanne has a wealth of knowledge to draw from. She currently resides in the picturesque Lake District and is always to continue learning, currently pursuing a Masters degree in International Law and training to become a Notary Public.
Bella
Head of Shredding
The old saying "every home should have a pet" also applies to offices. Here at at Joanne Bowmer LTD we have Bella the 5 year old Pugzu (a Shitzu and Pug cross, we didn't know that either!)

Bella is head of shredding, teabreaks and when not snoozing you may occasionally hear her giving an opinion in the background.
​
As our smallest employee she sure knows how to make her presence known in the office.
